14 Awesome Things To Do On The Gold Coast This March

March: the month when we all realise summer is gone… and it took Christmas, New Years, and all our money with it.

But that’s no reason to hibernate in misery ‘cause, let’s be real, that sun will keep pumping out heat for a while yet, and it also happens to be one of the most action-packed months of the year!

March plays host to a string of super-sized festivities headed up by the Quiksilver Pro, the new Cooly Beachfest, an adults-only circus BLANC de BLANC, with Bleach* Festival rounding out the calendar. How lucky are we?

Here’s our pick of 14 awesome things to do on the Gold Coast this March.

Stone & Wood Murwillumbah Brewery Open Day | Saturday, March 4

Okay, so we know you no longer need to leave the Coast to tour an epic brewery, but we also know many of you have a very soft spot for Stone & Wood. This March, they’ll be throwing open the doors to their primary production facility in Murwillumbah. Expect a festive afternoon of food trucks, brewery tours, $5 beers (with funds donated to the local community hospice), and a tribute brew to the infamous Murbah Swamp Beer. The what? You’ve gotta watch this legendary story

This is waaayyyy cooler than any ordinary circus performance, ‘cause it’s adults-only. Which means all of our favourite things: nudity, sexual references, flowing champagne and bubbles, heart-pumping musical remixes, glittering costumes, mind-bending circus performances, aerobatics, and energetic theatre, all under the magical veil of a purpose-built “Spiegeltent” circus tent.
